What’s the Notes for Raymond Mill Operation?

I.Remove the bolts.

The electromagnetic vibration feeder of Raymond mill is generally before the factory. The gap between the electromagnetic coil and the silicon steel sheet (1-2 mm) has been adjusted well. Generally it is not necessary to adjust.

Four M12×40 bolts were used to tighten the silicon steel sheet as the manufacturer considered that the sheet might loosen during transportation.Therefore, it is necessary to loosen the four bolts fastening the silicon steel sheet under the vibrating head before starting the machine. Otherwise ,the feeder of the Raymond mill is unable to discharge the material.

II.If the sound is abnormal, stop to check.

Because the Raymond mill pulverizes materials by means of impact and friction between grinding rollers, grinding rings and abrasive materials, the vibration and noise in operation of the Raymond mill are relatively large.But the sound is uniform and there should be no abnormal noise.If abnormal sound is found or the main engine current of the Raymond mill is suddenly increased and cannot be reduced for a long time, it should be stopped immediately for inspection.

III. Adjust feed speed.

The feed size of the Raymond mill should be uniform. And the feed speed should be appropriate.If the feeding speed is too slow, the output will be reduced. If the feeding speed is too fast, the air passage will be blocked, resulting in the failure of the Raymond mill and even an accident.Feed speed can be adjusted according to the main motor current of Raymond mill.

IV. Material shape.

The mining ore material to be ground into the main mill should be in the shape of a block. If it is in the shape of powder or there is more powder in the block, the output of the Raymond mill will be reduced.

V. Adjust the speed of the analyzer.

The speed of the classifier of Raymond mill can be adjusted by the controller knob through the frequency conversion governor to obtain different speed of the analytical machine.The user should choose the corresponding speed of the analyzer according to the particle size of the finished material.The higher the speed of the analytical machine, the finer the particle size of the finished products.Converter built-in parameters have been set before the factory, generally do not change its parameters.

VI .Check each bearing frequently.

Temperature rise more than 600C or abnormal noise should be shut down for inspection.

VII. Test machine.

The newly installed units shall be tested experimentally to check the accuracy and reliability of the installation of Raymond mill.The machine should not be more than two minutes for air test. Stop the machine to check the flexibility of rotation of each part, whether there is overheating, whether the bolt is loose, and whether the host vibration is too large. After the adjustment, you can add material for trial production.
